The leather magnetic closure can safely go in the washing machine.

If you wash your Mataluu frequently (several times a year), re-oil the leather to keep it supple — it will last for years.

And remember: wool is naturally self-cleaning thanks to its antibacterial properties.
Often, simply hanging your Mataluu in the fresh air for a day works wonders.
(Though sadly, it won’t remove ketchup stains.)

Yes — we've tested that for you. The wrap was designed to be flexible. It's not just a blanket. Its magnetic closure keeps it comfortably in place while allowing full freedom of movement. For the Mont Ventoux, we recommend rather courage and a windbreaker, but jsut keep your Mataluu close to you.
